A whole exciting year has gone by!

I can't believe it's been over a year since I've updated here!

Thank you so much to everyone who has ordered from me, and sent me sweet little notes during this time. It's much appreciated!

It has been such an exciting year for me and my new jewelry business!

After all the drama with a certain other DA person, I decided to get a fresh start away from DA and all the fuss that happens here. That was probably one of the best decisions I have ever made! My new little business has been featured in two magazines, and just this weekend I did a photo shoot and interview for the local newspaper! I've also been on the Etsy front page several times; which is always fun to see!

Thanks to all this awesome publicity, my jewelry and trinkets are being sold in all sorts of little shops and boutiques in even more places around the world... Some of my favorites: candy shops in New York, Canada, Italy and Germany; boutiques in Costa Rica, Brazil, Australia, and Japan; several resorts in both Europe and North America; a bazaar in India; a bakery in London; and even in a French cafe in Paris! I just can't believe how lucky I have been to be able to create such wonderful little treasures for all of these different places! Truly a blessing!

Jimmy has also had a wonderful year. His music is featured in the re-released version of the Street Fighter 2: Turbo video game, and he is currently involved in a super huge project that he must keep very hush hush about for the time being. ^_^ I will say that it is another video game. Hehe! And he is continuing to write wonderful music for TV shows on Food Network, DIY, and HGTV.

On top of all this awesomeness, we will be leaving for Walt Disney World exactly two weeks from today!!! I'm so excited I could just scream! lol We'll be at Disney's Pop Century resort for 8 glorious days. Most likely in the 80's section. That way I can wake up every morning, and play on the huge keyboard next to the computer pool, on the way to the bus stop. *grin* I'm also excited about Splash Mountain, Small World, Expedition Everest, Mission: Space, Soarin', Dinosaur, Kilimanjaro Safari, Space Mountain, Toy Story Midway Mania, Test Track at night, Wishes, Spectromagic... AHH!!! See??? So much excitement... It's a fun overload! lol We got a great deal on a package - buy a 4 day/4 night package and get 3 days admission and 3 nights at a Disney resort added on for FREE! Plus, when we check in, we get a $200 gift card!! So then that means I can add shopping around World Showcase, and at the World of Disney to my excitement list! P.S. Jimmy is very excited about the food. lol I guess I am excited about eating at Boma, at the Animal Kingdom Lodge - it's my favorite restaurant ever!

Go here to find all kinds of Disney World informaiton, pictures, menus, etc. [link]

And on that note, I must be off! Working on new patterns and ordering more supplies is calling my name!

Hope you are all having a wonderful year so far!

Busy busy busy!

Okay… So where was I?... Oh yeah… I was going on about Disney World. LOL

I really am so excited about this trip though! There’s going to be 8 of us going now. I’m pushing for us staying at Disney’s Polynesian Resort even more than before. I think it will be more convenient for everyone going. It’s right on the monorail line, right next to the TTC (Ticket & Transportation Center), the beach has a WONDERFUL view of Wishes, the atmosphere is awesome, and… I could keep going on and on and on! LOL It really is a great resort. But, then again, I think all the Disney resorts are great. ;) I send more of my Disney gift baskets here than to any other Disney resort, so I guess everyone loves it!

And speaking of love… I just LOVE this time of year!! We put our tree up on Friday (along with all my other Christmas decorations!) and I had the first Christmas party of the season at my house on Saturday! It was wonderful! Good food, friends, some GREAT Secret Santa gifts, and a little nip in the air made for a wonderful day. I am concerned about the tree though… Bi-Zu can’t keep her little paws off the tiny glass ornaments. LOL AND she keeps trying to chew up the silver star garland, too! The little stinker! LOL I’m going to have to keep my eye on her!

I just can’t wait ‘til Christmas break! I’m going to be off work for two and a half weeks after Christmas. I plan on working on all of my new ideas and projects. I probably still won’t take any orders until after the New Year though. I’ve just got so many new ideas I want to try. And I want all that time to myself to do whatever I please! LOL That’s one of the things I love love love about my job. We get soo many days off! Plus, I only work for 4-5 hours a day Monday through Friday, so that gives me lots of time to work on orders and experiment! Everything is working out quite nicely. ;)

We’ve also recently started talking more about when we’re going to take our trip to Japan. So that’s another exciting thing going on here! Right now we’re leaning towards 2010 – for our 5 year anniversary. Except we’re not going in July. I’d rather go sometime in the spring; right in the middle of the Cherry Blossom Festivals! We’re also trying to decide how long to stay. Somewhere between two and four weeks. Most likely right at three. I have a list of things I want to see/do:

Tokyo Disneyland for a few days
Sanrio Puroland and Harmonyland for a couple days each
Visit the shop in Tokyo where some of my things are being sold (!)
And there’s a bunch of little side trips that we want to take; too numerous to list. We’re going to have to narrow those down a bit. ;)

If any of you guys have been, I would love to hear about it!

Jimmy got me several Japan guidebooks for our anniversary this year, so I could start planning our trip. And there’s just SO much to see and do! We want to do as much as we can, because we probably will not be going back. There are just too many other places we’ve got on our agenda to visit – Australia, France, Germany, Africa, Hong Kong Disneyland, Alaska… Plus, we’ll have to keep visiting Disney World! Soo many wonderful things/places to see in the world! It’s very exciting!

Anyway… I must be going now! I’ve got some things to package up to take to the Post Office before work.

Hope everyone has a lovely week!

P.S. – Holy cow! I just noticed that it’s only 14 days ‘til Christmas! Yipes!

New news! Hehe... ;)

Ooohh!! I've got some wonderful things in the works! Keep checking back at my site for some very special one-of-a-kind goodies and sets!

It seems that I've been drifting farther and farther away from polymer clay these days, as more and more people have started selling their polyclay charms and such online. Don't get me wrong, I still work on polymer clay orders all the time. And I really do enjoy it! It's just that lately, I've started experimenting in some different media on my own time. Now, for me anyway, it's all about glittery resins and festive papers and do-die-for fabrics and yummy threads! Oh, and let's not forget the beads... Mountains and mountains of all sorts of delicious little seed beads! *giggle* Sometimes I think I'm not even going to use them; that I'm just going to leave them here in their little tubes and bags and just stare at them! *giggle* And yea... I'm still all about making the jewelry and accessories. I've just found some different ways to do it! ;) Oh... And I still love finding ways to scent everything! ;)

So keep checking back!

Also, I'm not taking any more orders of any kind until after Christmas. I've got several parties and other holiday events planned, and I want to have lots and lots of time to spend doing other things!

I do still have things in my Etsy shop, so if you want something right now, just go there!

And I've also got some bittersweet news... We're not going to Disney World in January... Because we're going to go in May... Right before we depart for our first Disney Cruise!!!!!!!! Woohoo!! We had several more people who wanted to go with us, but couldn't go in January. So we bumped it back a few months, to the beginning of May, and decided to do the Land and Sea package! Except we had to add a few days to the WDW part. :D So that means we'll be staying in Disney World for 6 nights, and then driving to Port Canaveral for our 4 night Disney cruise! I've still got so many details to work out. Like where we're staying now at WDW (probably the Polynesian resort), our schedule, I have to order a Disney Cruise Passporter, the free planning DVD... AH! LOL So much to do! I'm actually really excited to be going in May. That means we'll get some great water park time!! Shark Reef here I come!! :D

Oh gosh... I've still got so much more news! LOL But I can't post it now, I have to go meet Jimmy for dinner after he gets off work!

More later!

Tiny Little Update

So... I don't have much time to type this out, so I'm going to try to make it short and sweet!

Only two days of work this week! (Today and tomorrow) Woohoo!! And then I'm off for five lovely days!!

I'm hoping to get a bunch of orders finished on Wednesday. Then Thursday is Thanksgiving - a day where nothing is going to get done. :) Shopping with Mom on Friday. (I know, we're crazy!!) Jimmy and I are also going to Atlanta to visit family. And now Nashville. To visit the Opryland Hotel - where Jimmy proposed almost three years ago. I can't believe it's been that long! I'm really looking forward to Nashville. We're also going to look at some houses. I'm super excited about that as well. Although I'm not looking forward to packing and actually moving. Ugh. Oh well! It could be worse! LOL

I've also got several new items for sale. Some little stitched and scented things. And also some resin jewelry - pins and earrings. I MIGHT have some resin things anyway. I'm having a hard time keeping them in stock right now! Especially the pin sets.

Anyway... I have way more going on right now, I just don't have the time to type it all out! LOL

More updates later! Maybe!

Oh! One more thing... I've been posting in my LJ more than here lately. It's more likely to have more updates and pictures and stuff there... [link] So stop by and say 'hi'!
